Meet the Team
We’re based in the Lake District, mostly because it’s utterly beautiful but also because the quiet gives us the headspace to actually think. We’re a small team of three and although we all have different skill sets, we are all involved in every part of the business. We all create, we all design, and we all handle the technical side. We love what we do—not just the finished product, but the actual process of unpicking a problem and building a solution that works.
Other than a love of creating software, another thing we have in common is that we all love the outdoors—specifically fell walking. We live in the Lake District, so it would be rude not to. And the walking explains the photo choice - we could have used some corporate shots but why would we? That picture is us, the real us.
Richard
Richard has been writing code his whole life. He’s the technical foundation of the group—the one who understands the systems inside out and knows exactly why things work (or why they don't). He’s the person we turn to when a problem seems genuinely unsolvable; he has an annoyingly clever way of looking at a complex logic knot and seeing the thread that pulls it all together. He isn't tucked away in the back-end, though. He’s right there with us on the design and marketing side too, ensuring that the "big picture" is actually supported by solid architecture.
Jack
Jack started out in film and television production, which gives him a different perspective on how people actually interact with what we build. He eventually realized his real strength was in design, and once he was introduced to "vibe coding," he hasn't looked back. He focuses on how a tool feels, making sure the interface is intuitive rather than just functional. Jack is the youngest of the group, and a dedicated fell runner, which probably explains why he works at a pace that often leaves the rest of us slightly breathless. He brings a creative energy to the technical side that keeps us moving forward.
Sarah
Sarah makes sure the ideas actually turn into a finished product. She’s the one who keeps us grounded in how a business actually needs to be run. Her background is in marketing, SEO, and project management, so she knows exactly how to position what we make to get it noticed. But Sarah isn’t just a strategist; she’s right there in the code and the design with us, building the very tools she’s marketing. She understands the product from the inside out, which makes her take on SEO and branding a lot more practical than most. She ensures that while Richard is being clever and Jack is moving at light speed, we’re actually delivering what we promised.
